Dear Reliance netconnect users,
1. Don’t trust ‘my services’ data usage that is provided through log in for customers @rcom.co.in. It is totally erroneous for these reasons
a. I was charged for additional usage (rs. 1500) beyond 10GB cityplan during billing stating that their data usage meter which they called some CDR (not sure) is showing beyond 10GB. I showed them the data usage downloading from my services which they don’t accept and stand on their data meter. Either they should have updated properly or should have informed the customers that the my services usage is approximate reference.
b. They went on to disconnect by 5th October. Unable to deal with these adamant , customer service morons who kept saying that I have extra used (based on their data meter) without accepting their mistake that they haven’t updated and because of which I over used, I paid them and got connection back, to my shock I found the myservices data usage shows that I have logged in during the disconnected period. When I blasted calling customer care executive he started bluffing and the moron was trying to convince that I have kept the modem attached to my laptop (how come???, just imagine…. during the disconnection period). Then they hurriedly corrected it (I have a print screen image of that log in session during the disconnected period which I hope I could do something with that). The misery is that the comparing my data usage with theirs which they produced shows my additional 2GB usage somewhere in the middle of the month which means they have left it unupdated till the end of month, allowing me use beyond 10GB by the month end.
c. My suggestions to similar users are, shift to unlimited beyond certain usage eg. 5GB at highspeed+ beyond that unlimited usage at low speed or keep a good log in history from your desktop or laptop. May be this plan too will have its own problem probably like low speed from the beginning of the month itself.
d. I am a 2year customer and have been robbed by reliance for the 3rd time through the data usage calculation. In beginning 2009 when I took my connection by not mentioning that the night usage will stop at 10pm and I have to disconnect myself at 10pm to avail the night data (later they included it in their plans after trial error, I was charged 16,000rs for it ).These trial and errors and keeping us blind to earn money from this ambani group will keep continue in different forms. So be aware of it!!!
